Snow Day

This is what we woke up to this morning. We have about 6" and it's still going strong. It is only 19 degrees outside and the roads are slick. At 7 am Chiggie and I sat listening by the radio chanting, "no school, no school." The announcer didn't agree though, and stated that schools would be in session and on time. Bummer. She was at least excited to get to wear her new snow boots. We got there, unfortunately not on time. We could only go about 10 mph and there were several fender benders along the way.

This afternoon I hope to take the older girls out to play in the snow and maybe build a fort. It's supposed to snow until midnight. Who knows maybe tomorrow we will get our snow day.

We got snowed in too. How is everyone doing now? No more colds? We are all doing pretty good. I take Jeremiah in tomorrow and get his flu shot finally. Not much else going on here. We have the parade of lights this Saturday. Our Childrens Department has a float in the parade. The plan is for Jeremiah and I to ride the float and Bob is going to walk. We have to have so many walkers walk beside the float. But if I can;t find Jeremiah a snow suit he won't be riding the float. It's supposed to be cold here all week. You said you guys on;y got to 19 degrees. We were not much warmer. Only 25 here. Well, I better go for now. We love you all.
