There is a nasty flu like virus going around. I believe it's what Boo had this past weekend and I fell victim yesterday evening. It's odd for a summer virus including fever and chills. Major bummer. I hope no one else gets it. I'm actually feeling a little better today, tired and my throat is sore, but not the horrible headache I had yesterday. Today the kids are just going to have to settle for a day at home. Swimming in the back yard. Poor things...

Last week at a check up our pediatrician said "it's been a bad winter this summer." Apparently there's a summer influenza plaguing a lot of places. Parainfluenza or something?

I had strep just a week or so ago...IN JUNE!? I was shocked, truly, considering it's so nice outside and I've never had strep before. Ugh! I am so sorry to hear you're suffering similiarly and I hope that no one else gets it and all are feeling 100% soon so you can get back to enjoying your beloved warm weather. :)
