I don't know about anyone else, but when I was a kid summer was a season that seemed to be endless. I loved the long days, trips to the pool, freedom from school, and hanging out with friends. Now that I am a mother and am watching my own children revel in the season, it seems to be going by at warp speed. Usually I feel like there are hardly enough hours in the day for all the fun to be had. June was lovely, bring on July!

You are alone b/c me, I'm starting to look fwd to school starting! LOL I totally 'get' why moms always lament at how long the summer season is. My 5-year-old is so bored it's almost sad and we are butting heads b/c she's so bored. I was hoping for a relaxed, quiet summer and it's not working out thus far. Enjoy your July! :)
