Cause We're Just Talented Like That

We spent the entire morning and early afternoon outside today. The girls swam, rode their bikes and scooters, and just ran around the yard. Meanwhile I was busy picking weeds and clearing the sidewalks with our handy dandy leaf vac/blower. While we were out there Chiggie made the following observation:

Chiggie: Hey Mom check out the neighbors yard. They only know how to grow green grass.

Me: What do you mean?

Chiggie: Look we grow ours green and yellow.

That we do, that we do.

LOL Kids are so funny and SO honest, aren't they? At least she put a good spin on the yellow grass!
Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog yesterday, I appreciate it. It was THE single most weird blog day ever. One of the highest traffic days and no comments! That happened to me one other time, but it was because I gave a negative review of a product months before and a person found it and talked about it on some message boards, lol.
A little encouragement, going from 3-4 kids really isn't much of an adjustment. You'll be fine. Make sure you have help for a week or two, then you'll be good. From 1 to 2 is huge because you go from being a couple with a kid to a family. 2 to 3 kids makes your arms outnumbered when you are by yourself. 3 to 4, well, you are still outnumbered by yourself, but between the 2 of you, its good, so really, you are in the same situation, but the oldest is a bit older and usually able to listen.
4 to 5, thats a tough one! After 5, its all the same, constant chaos. Might as well keep going!

So funny...at our house we only seem to be growing yellow grass with a few green stripes. Darn drought!
