Spring at the Lake

Spring Concert

Tonight was the Spring Concert for LEAP. Midge and Boo both sang. Midge also played chimes and had some art on display. Chiggie acted in and directed a few short movies that were played as well.  It was a fun night and we are getting very excited for summer vacation!

Lazy Mornings

Our mornings are busy around here most days of the week. Wednesdays are even more crazy than normal with the kids going to school, except for Buster. Wednesdays are the one morning a week that he can be lazy, cuddle, and watch morning cartoons. Oh to be 5 again!

Pre-K Fun

Buster's preschool days are winding down. He has learned so miluch this year and we have had a lot of fun. Here he was practicing writing his name in shaving cream. Writing is his least favorite subject. His favorite is math, and he is the first one of the kids to learn to count to 100 by 1's, 10's, and 5's so early. It helps that he likes to associate all the numbers with his favorite athletes.

Gobble Gobble!

Last Wednesday the kids were at school and Boston was playing out back when suddenly he started barking and growling. I went outside right away to see what was up and was shocked to find a wild turkey just strutting around the yard. It ended up hanging out for the rest of the day alternating between the yard and the roof!

Field Trip Fun!

Friday we went on a LEAP field trip to the Fort Collins Museum. We really didn't know what to expect, but it was amazing. The kids really enjoyed all the hands on activities.

We will most definitely come back and enjoy this museum again!

Out to Eat

Buster is going through that adorable phase where he loves to play restaurant. He takes our orders and then brings out whatever he can put together. This was my lunch today

He also makes an adorable waiter!
