It has been a great long weekend . After much thought we decided to hang ou around the house this time . We planted our garden which we are all pretty excited about. We planted tomatoes , peppers, cucumbers, squash, watermelon, strawberries, and pumpkins. Hopefully we will have a nice harvest!
We also went swimming at the rec center which we have been doing several times a week. Buster is really comfortable in the water this year and is starting to actually swim. Today we walked over to the lake and the kids swam despite the freezing water temperature. We spend a lot of time at the lake anyway but it will be even more fun now that the swim beach is open!
Last night we barbecued ribs and had a really nice dinner . It was the first night that we didn't have a major rainstorm with flash flooding in several days! I hope everyone else is have a memorable Memorial Day!
