Just for fun the little girls and I made a cake this afternoon. They so enjoyed licking the beaters afterwards. As soon as the cake was done I took it out of the oven and set in on top to cool.
All would have been fine had I not turned on the wrong burner to boil the water for spaghetti noodles for dinner. We will refer to this as the great cake disaster of 2o10 from now on.
The clean up is going to take somewhere around forever. The King suggested we move. Just another day....

That is awful! Did the glass break and fly everywhere? Good luck with clean-up. I can't say I've been there and done THAT but I have done similiar and I feel for you!
