Have a party! The pumpkin patch just was not meant to be this year. The weather has simply not cooperated. Both of the scheduled nights we ended up getting wind and snow. Not your typical cornmaze/pumpkin patch weather. Luckily our church is not discouraged easily and the youth leaders put together a party that the girls enjoyed as much or more than the patch anyway.
They all got to choose a pumpkin. Boo was very selective, it was funny.

Tea found the perfect one almost right away.
Marlee helped Boo draw a face on her pumpkin. There was a contest and all of the girls won candy prizes.
The King was in charge of carving. He enjoys it and I don't so....
After the carving the kids enjoyed cupcakes and hot cocoa.

They made trick or treat bags and then went on a candy hunt. Midge pulled this chair back and realized she'd hit the mother load.
