Weekend Fun

We have been super busy with yard and house work, but we still made plenty of time for fun. Last night we went to the Sculpture Park for a walk and the weather was amazing!
Today we mowed for the first time and raked up some leftover leaves. The high was over 80, so the kids were rewarded with some time in the sprinkler.

Another Birthday!

I honestly cannot believe how blessed I am! I had a wonderful birthday, and was surprised and delighted with all the effort my family put into making my day special! I was spoiled with a new purse, ear buds, a necklace, worship music, outdoor decorations, gift cards/spending money, and the biggest surprise was a new wedding set made with the diamonds from the original! What a wonderful day!

Kindergarten Visiting Day

Yesterday was Buster's Kindergarten Visiting Day. He got to meet his teacher, tour the classroom, and got a pretty good idea of how his Wednesdays will go. I am so excited for him, next year is going to be full of changes and fun!

Dog Sitting

We are even busier than normal this week, and on top of all the running around we have added pet sitting to the chaos. These three are definitely keeping me on my toes!

Spring and A Birthday party!

I am so happy that Spring is here! It is wonderful to see the grass turning green, and the bulbs coming up! We have been unusually busy lately and I am really looking forward to our spring break in two weeks. I am not used to it being so late, but we are following the LEAP schedule.

Some good friends had a birthday party at a gymnastics studio and the kids all had a really good time. I was surprised at how much Buster did! Midge had some fun swinging around!

Pajama Day!

Wearing your pajamas to school is just fun! Chiggie has a cold, which made it even nicer.

Happy Birthday, Buster!

He could hardly sleep last night he was so excited! 5 is a big deal! I can't believe all of my babies are big now! I can really tell the difference between being an oldest child and a youngest child. Buster may be 5 years old, but he still eats in a high chair, rides in the basket at the grocery store, and is carried a good bit. It doesn't bother me a bit, in fact if he could stay a baby just a bit longer....,

Up Early and Sickness

6 o'clock this morning seemed very early. Even though am sure that I got plenty of sleep, it was just so dark and just yuck! I love how much gets accomplished on the new schedule, but I will never live getting up early!

On top of the even earlier than normal wake up, Midge is sick! She has a myriad  of crummy symptoms, and we are praying this is contained and short lived!

Midge's Turn

We have really been rocking our new schedule around here! It is amazing how mulch gets accomplished each day and I am impressed at how diligently the kids re working. Today, it was Midge's turn to bake as her math had her making brownies. These will make a nice addition to tonight's dinner!

Buster's School Work

There are no uniforms required here at the Dauk family homeschool. However if there were, I can imagine what Buster's vote might be!
